Abstract
To improve the efficiency of the solution of two-dimensional problems of the theory of elasticity, a method is proposed for determining the Christoffel-Schwartz integral. The method involves elimination of the integrand singularity in combination with the use of a numerical integration procedure. The reason for the ambiguity of the integral's calculation is determined and a method of overcoming this is presented when performing the appropriate procedures on a computer.
