Abstract
Using formulas for the central demagnetization coefficient (factor) N of solid-core and hollow cylinders made of material with high magnetic permeability magnetized parallel to the generatrix, an interpolating formula has been developed to calculate N of hollow cylinders with the ratio of the length λ to the outer diameter less than 0.2. The application of this formula to calculate this factor is founded on the physical laws of magnetics.
