Abstract

In this study, the ohmic resistance due to the YSZ electrolyte in the flat tubular type SOFC cell which have the distribution of temperature and oxygen potential during operation corresponding to the position such as fuel inlet or outlet, or anode or cathode side is estimated based on the Raman spectroscopic analysis. The calculated value by analyzed the cell after operating 10000 hours with 0.2 Acm-2 at 750 oC is approximately same value with the observed value during operation. It was confirmed that the degradation degree by the phase transformation of YSZ electrolyte can be evaluated quantitatively by post analysis.
