Abstract
The distribution of neutron and proton densities in 208Pb is calculated with a very realistic representation of G in nuclear matter. It is found that the neutron radius is larger than the proton radius by 0.2 fm, the half-density radius is the same for both the nucleons, and the ratio of neutron and proton surface thickness is 1.27.
