Abstract

An analysis is made of the sheet drawing process and the effect of the curvature of the die tooling elements on the force parameters of the forming of a cylindrical product (glass) when folding the sheet blank along the end radius of the rounding of the pressing punch and the steady drawing process of the blank into the deformation zone with sequential bending straightening of the material along the edge of the diе. A mathematical model is being developed that makes it possible to estimate the level of radial stresses during the forming of individual elements that make up a cold-drawn product and to more accurately approach the choice of deforming equipment.
