Abstract
Based on a strict solution of a complex mathematical model of clarifying a suspension by filtration through a multilayer medium we have developed a calculation method which makes it possible at high precision to determine in it concentrations, discharges, volumes, and pressure heads. Separately we have considered two main filtration modes—at a constant discharge of the filtrate and pressure differential on external boundaries a varied analysis of an effect of a three-layer media and also identical with it by their properties two-layer and single-layer media and an assessment has been made of all model parameters.
