Abstract

A calculation of the changes in five representative areas of the Fermi surface of Cu resulting from alloying of both Al and 3d transition-metal impurities is presented. The theoretical results of Cu(Al) and Cu(Ni) are compared with experimental Fermi surface changes obtained from de Haas-van Alphen investigations.
