Abstract

A computer programme is described for calculating corrosion rates and electrochemical parameters (anodic and cathodic Tafel slopes) from data obtained by means of polarisation curves. The programme is compared with others referred to in the bibliography. The conclusion is drawn that, in general, all these programmes should be used cautiously since the solutionJound may not be the only one to fit the experimental values.
