Abstract

A sideways dispersion relation is used to calculate the anomalous magnetic moments of nucleons. The absorptive parts for all energies are obtained as extrapolations of the one-pion-one-nucleon intermediate state in the elastic region having proper threshold behavior and an assumed Regge behavior at high energies. The calculated values are ${\ensuremath{\mu}}_{S}=\ensuremath{-}0.06$ and ${\ensuremath{\mu}}_{V}=1.81$.
