Abstract
Taking into account the basic parameters of electrical equipment, a comparative analysis of algorithms for several methods on calculating electric power losses in low-voltage shop networks was carried out. In the process the main factors that determine the level of electric energy losses are taken into account: resistance of contact connections of low-voltage switching devices, heating of conductors installed on the lines of shop networks, as the lines networks with a small length have significant switching equipment. The magnitude of the equivalent resistance and active power losses in radial and trunk circuits of workshop networks with the determination of computation errors relative to reference values is investigated. Nomograms were built to determine the equivalent resistance of workshop networks with various equipment parameters, with enough accuracy and suitable for practical use.
