Abstract

Taking a 3MW large wind turbine foundation as the research object, the dynamic interaction model of wind turbine foundation and subgrade is established. By intercepting the subgrade in a limited range and setting spring-damper elements at the boundary of the subgrade, the semi-infinite space of the subgrade is simulated. In order to facilitate the use of structural designers, the calculation methods of the stiffness coefficient and damping coefficient of the spring-damper element are simplified. The simplified calculation formulas for the stiffness coefficient and damping coefficient of the spring-damper unit are obtained when the intercepted subgrade range is 5 times and 10 times the wind turbine foundation.
