Abstract
In cooperation with the University of Sheffield, Prof. Page, a method for the calculation of radiation data on inclined surfaces is developed, which can be used for any station within the European Community, if the relevant input data are known: the mean values of monthly sunshine duration of the location the type of the atmospheric turbidity of the location The method agrees with measured data in general with deviations of ± 10 %. More accurate results can be obtained, if monthly mean hourly values of sunshine duration are known.
