Abstract

Combined with the field tests of CFG (Cement Fly-ash Gravel) pile-net (geogrid) composite foundation in Dan yang Test Section of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, the pile-soil stress, additional stress and settlement of composite foundation are analyzed by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. It shows that the distribution of additional stress solved by Mindlin-Boussinesq solution agrees reasonably well with the actual conditions, and the settlement of composite foundation calculated by layer wise summation method based on Mindlin-Boussinesq solution is consistent with the field measurement. The research results can provide references to the railway engineering which is strictly limited in the settlement of composite foundation.
