Abstract

The radiation situation in the reactor’s internal stainless steel parts is an important parameter during reactor operation. They are the most radiation-stressed structures because they are very close to the fuel. Knowledge of neutron flux distribution is important both for estimation of radiation-induced swelling of internal parts, radiation heating, and internal part activation. This paper aims to compare the experimental and calculation reaction rate distribution in a VVER-1000 mock-up placed in reactor LR-0.
