Abstract

Regression equations for the viscosity of glass melts are derived and their coefficients are calculated by the least squares method. With these equations, the decimal logarithm of the melt viscosity can be calculated as a function of the melt composition and temperature with a standard deviation of ±0.3 dPa/sec from experimental data.
