Abstract
The redetermination of the crystal structure of calcium octaammine chloride, or octaamminecalcium dichloride, [Ca(NH3)8]Cl2, based on synchrotron X-ray diffraction powder data, revealed a more reasonable model in terms of N...N distances in comparison with the previous model [Westmanet al.(1981).Acta Chem. Scand. Ser. A,35, 467–472].
