Abstract
Dr. Kook Sang Oh: This is the case of a 26-year-old sales manager who had enjoyed excellent health. Three years prior to admission he received a severe blow to the medial aspect of his left thigh from an opponent's foot during a touch football game. One year prior to admission he noted a swelling in the same area which was persistent and occasionally tender. A physician was consulted and conservative treatment to relieve the swelling was started but without success. Roentgenograms of the left thigh (Figure) were then obtained. A mass was locally resected from the thigh, and the patient was referred to this hospital for further management. Physical examination was not remarkable except for small, nontender, palpable nodes in the groin and a fresh transverse scar with a drain site on the medial aspect of the left thigh.
