Abstract

The book titled Language: Issues in Contemporary Research contains 10 selected articles discussing contemporary research issues from diverse perspectives in the Malay language and linguistics discipline, such as language education, publishing, phonetics and phonology, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis and translation. Linguistic versatility has become a central topic in every discussion involving contemporary issues in the Malay language. Therefore, this book is published to share research findings with readers so that they can collectively comprehend and be concerned about contemporary Malay language issues. All the selected articles presented in this book are research papers whose arguments are compiled scientifically and empirically, in line with the requirements and demands of the latest linguistic research worldwide.
