Abstract
The isolation, comprehensive structure elucidation, and assessment of the free radical scavenging activity of caffeic acid decyl ester (1) from the seeds of Phleum pratense have been described. The RC50 value of this compound in the DPPH assay was found to be 3.60 × 10−3 mg/mL, whereas that of positive control, trolox, was 3.07 × 10−3 mg/mL.
