Abstract

In December 2002, the Government of India approved a policy for the grant of licenses for setting up of Community Radio Stations to well established educational institutions including IITs/IIMs. The present study was conducted in Amravati district of Maharashtra State with 150 listener farmers of Sadhana Community Radio Station, Durgapur. Sadhana Community Radio Station is established under Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Durgapur (Badnera). The findings indicates that majority of respondents were aware about the programme “Mi shetakri bolato aani Grampanchayat”(96.00%) and “Sad pratisad” (90.00%).
