Abstract

Introduction Previous evidence for the existence of Ca2+-activated K+ channels in lymphocytes comes from measurements using potentiometric dyes and tracer flux studies (reviewed by Rink and Deutsch 1983); however, they have not been measured directly using the patch-clamp technique. We have now studied these channels in B and T lymphocytes in single-channel recordings from cell-attached and excised patches.
