Abstract

We have been studying about guidance, navigation and control (GNC) subsystem for the Smart landing for investigating Moon (SLIM). SLIM is under consideration small satellite by the Japan Exploration Agency (JAXA). The mission purpose of SLIM is precise landing to the moon and precursor mission for the future big moon project. In this study, a feasibility study about SLIM/GNC, which include surface topology matching algorithm, Autonomous obstacle avoidance algorithm, are shown.
