Abstract

Among women with anovulatory disorders, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, increased C-reactive protein (CRP) has been observed independent of body mass index (BMI). Among eumenorrheic women, estrogen is inversely associated with CRP. Thus, higher CRP may be associated with sporadic anovulation. We estimated the association of CRP with anovulation among eumenorrheic women with 1-2 pregnancy losses and no infertility diagnosis.
