Abstract
Major cardiac involvement is rare in congenital myopathies and in congenital muscular dystrophies excepting α-dystroglycanopathies. We have recently reported that mutations in M-line titin are responsible for a novel recessive titinopathy manifesting with congenital skeletal muscle weakness and lethal dilated cardiomyopathy.
