Abstract

The use of transcatheter cerebral embolic protection (TCEP) has been well established in patients with normal aortic arch anatomy during transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) [1]. Bovine aortic arch (BAA) is the most common variant of aortic arch anatomy and presents challenges during TCEP insertion. We sought to evaluate the safety and efficacy of TCEP use in patients with BAA.
