Abstract

The pandemic of COVID-19 is considered the mostchallenging problem faced by the world at this moment. This ongoing pandemicIt has ravaged many countries. Furthermore, the situation is deteriorating by theday due to the mutation of various variations. Many developed countries withwell-established medical facilities continue to face problems, while Bangladesh,a developing country on the Indian subcontinent, is doing everything to mitigatethe impact. This lethal virus has not only taken lives but has also wreaked havocon the education system in this impoverished country. To maintain the country'slockdown and social distancing, the government has closed down all educationalinstitutions and began an online learning period from the beginning of thepandemic until today. In this paper, the authors aim to highlight the challengingimpact Bangladesh is currently facing in education and the response andrecovery strategies taken by authorities to drive the education sector.
