Abstract

This article deals with bumpless transfer for discrete-time switched linear systems. A bumpless transfer controller that is activated at every switching time for reducing the transient behavior is presented. The bumpless transfer control design is based on the finite horizon solution of a linear quadratic optimization problem. Dwell time conditions for assessing asymptotic stability of the closed-loop switched system are provided.
