Abstract

While I am writing this article, I look outside my window and it seems that everything is back to normal. Students are gathering in the park; the occasional tourist walks by. Privileged as I am, born in a Western country, with two jabs “in the pocket,” I realize that in many parts of the world people are not that lucky and are still waiting for their first vaccination—not much of an equal playing field.
