Abstract
Abstract Using a non-concurrent multiple baseline design. an exposure plus response prevention clinical protocol was instituted across three Type I diabetic bulimic women. The onset of treatment was associated with reduction in frequency and severity of bulimic and diabetic symptomatology. Questionaire measures of eating disorder severity, depression and social anxiety were inconsistent. Results of treatment for bulimic episodes were generally positive. and these maintained at follow-up. Implications for the management and care of bulimic diabetics are discussed.
