Abstract

Many educational researchers proved that family members are the primary educators of children, parents can lay down the intellectual foundations for their learning and development. This paper describes a communication plan to discuss how to build partnerships with families in children's learning process. The creation of the communication models has based on Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory as well as Dunst and Trivette's Family‐System Intervention Practices. It includes three key components in this plan, which are encouraging family involvement, empowering families and cultivating the family's own capabilities as the goal. And how to implement the plan, which putting partnership principles into practice for creating engaged partnerships between educators and families. Also, this paper discusses the longstanding challenges that educators usually faced.
