Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Building Energy Management System with Data Analytics where the user can monitor the electrical loads and the flow of current. The feature of the system includes, multiple Reading of Energy Sources, User Management and Privileges, Real time monitoring and control in different loads, power threshold settings, and integrated decision support. The evaluators were five experts in the field of electronics and information technology from different electric and ICT industries and 15 users. After the development, the system was evaluated using Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) and Software Test Case for the Overall System, System Usefulness, Information Quality and Interface Quality. The Overall results of the evaluation of the developed system for the Building Energy Management System with Data Analytics show that the evaluator strongly agrees that the developed system is highly usable. The developed system is functional in terms of System Quality, Information Quality and Interface Quality. A user manual was developed to guide user on how to operate and set-up the gadget.
