Abstract

At present, there are an abundance of learning resources and different E-Learning systems on the Internet, and the sharing and reuse of these resources is a very worthwhile study. Learning object technology and service-oriented software development methodology are two important aspects of E-Learning research, which emphasize the modularization of data information and system functions respectively, both aiming at promoting the sharing and reuse of learning resources. This article introduces pedagogical semantics for the description of learning objects, presents a SLO (semantic learning object) model, utilizes SOA technology to build a new-generation SLO management system, and designs SLO management system functional reference model and SOA framework. This study will apply to the building of computer hardware systems curricula learning resources.
