Abstract

This chapter analyzes the concept of “Community with Shared Future for Mankind” as a conceptual category including elements of Chinese domestic law but also international aspirations. In fact, this expression follows the desire to modify some aspects of international practices that are sometimes in contradiction with international law. Instead, through “Xi Jinping's thoughts on the rule of law” (Liu, 2020), Xi Jinping’s rule of law reflects the organic connection between the national rule of law and the international rule of law, in a sort of osmotic relation. This led to a new developing paradigm in China, that is to build a new type of international relations and build a community with a shared future for mankind, in line with international law.
