Abstract

Passed in the USA on Nov 19, 2021, the Build Back Better (BBB) Act, which intends to reduce the costs of prescription drugs and health care in the country, could lead to a substantial decrease in payments for Medicare—the government health insurance programme for people aged 65 years and older—to independent and community-based oncology practices, a new analysis has found.
