Abstract
PHOENIX — Hurdles created by admission and enrollment processes should never be a barrier to an education. Creating an online space that streamlines processes as much as possible for your students can help cut down on the frustration and attrition associated with dealing with bureaucracy. In a session from the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers annual conference, Sherry M. Phillips, director of registration and records; and Stephanie Prazenka, associate director of records and registration, both from the Montgomery County Community College System, shared best practices and lessons learned from their move to an online one‐stop shop for admissions, registration, and financial aid. The initiative uses Colleague® Student Self‐Service to improve student retention, progression toward degree, and completion.
