Abstract

Between the years 2009 and 2014, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff faced a sharp decline in enrollment, losing 1,012 students. In July 2014, Linda A. Okiror, Ph.D., was named vice chancellor of enrollment management and student success. Okiror shared some of the measures that UAPB put into place to combat the decline, as well as her own experience piloting a high school transition program that has grown to be a wildly successful part of the enrollment landscape at UAPB.
