Abstract

Abstract The buffer-gas pressure broadening coefficients and the temperature dependent parameter of the third overtone band of NO at 1.35–1.38 μm by N2 and rare gases for two ground electronic states, 2Π1⁄2 and 2Π3⁄2, were investigated for rotational levels of P(7.5)–R(14.5) using continuous-wave cavity ring-down spectroscopy. Obtained pressure-broadening coefficients are consistent with literature values.
