Abstract
The article presents the housing situation in Slovakia in 2011, also compared to previous years. The development of housing has been presented as well as the size, structure and standards of housing against the background of the economic situation in Slovakia. The author also presented a comparison of indicators characterizing the housing in Poland and Slovakia.
