Abstract

Bubble point pressures data were measured for the system carbon dioxide, benzene and naphthalene at 40, 60 and 80°C. The experimental points were determined for three constant mole ratios of benzene to naphthalene of 9:1, 9:2 and 9:3. The resulting experimental data were modeled using the Peng-Robinson equation of state. Two temperature independent interaction parameters k ij and l ij were used to obtain a relatively good agreement between the calculated and experimental data.
