Abstract

Brown's syndrome is characterized by limitation of elevation in adduction along with a positive forced duction test. Acquired cases can be caused by local inflammatory conditions or may be secondary to systemic problems. This report presents the clinical description and management of a patient who developed Brown's syndrome after sinus surgery. A discussion follows describing the specific clinical presentations, etiologies, differential diagnoses, and management of this disorder.
