AbstractFood (MIC: 4.1 SIC: 2084 NAIC: 312130)Brown‐Forman primarily manufactures, bottles, imports, exports and markets a variety of alcoholic beverage brands. Co. also manufactures and markets new and used oak barrels, and Hartmann Luggage. As of Apr 30 2006, Co.'s primary beverage brands included Jack Daniel's, Southern Comfort, Canadian Mist, Fetzer Vineyards, Bolla and Korbel. In the U.S., Co. sells spirits and wines either via wholesale distributors or directly to state governments in those states that control alcohol sales. Internationally, Co.'s key export markets are the U.K., Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, France, South Africa, Canada, Japan and China.
