Abstract

In an attempt to increase students’ appreciation for the richness of different perspectives on management issues, a novel teaching approach was used to explore human resources management issues, concepts, and theories within the context of the multi-dimensional lives of characters in a novel. This article will discuss how the full-length novel Brothers and Sisters (Campbell, 1994) was used to teach an introductory management of human resources course.
