Abstract
Studies have shown a relationship between high viscosity of seminal fluid and decreased motility, vitality, DNA integrity and fertilization potential of the spermatozoa. Further the analysis and handling of hyperviscous semen implicates different problems, as the correct evaluation of sperm concentration or motility and the optimal preparation for ART procedures.
