Abstract

Half-widths and shifts of the line centers of the excited CO molecule caused by transitions between highly excited rovibrational states are calculated. Strong intramolecular effects caused by vibrational excitation are considered in the calculations. It is revealed that the vibrational dependence of the line broadening and shift coefficients is nonmonotonic, and the coefficients can change several times.
