Abstract

As indicating the foundation already laid for international exchange of radio weather reports the following facts are presented.The Imperial Observatory at Kobe, Japan, broadcasts three or four times daily weather reports from about twenty stations in Japan, the Philippines, Manchuria, Korea and a few places in China. A similar service is performed by the Philippine Weather Service at Manila. Broadcasts are also made from Honolulu which include reports from two or three places in the Hawaiian Group, including Midway Islands, and certain stations in Alaska and continental United States.
