Abstract
A broadband travelling-wave substrate integrated rectangular waveguide (SIRW) power divider using a dual-disk probe is presented. The central dual-disk probe provides a broadband input match for the travelling-wave SIRW power divider. The detailed design, simulation, fabrication, and measurements of a C-band four-way SIRW power divider are discussed. Measured results agree well with the simulated results. The measured 10 dB return loss bandwidth of this power divider is about 4.4 GHz and its 1 dB insertion loss bandwidth 4.3 GHz. The measured isolations between the output ports are as low as 10 dB at the entire C-band.
