Abstract

The broadband fast frequency-switching heterodyne radiometers have been developed to measure simultaneously three-band components of electron cyclotron emission with high time and frequency resolutions in the large helical device (LHD). The fast frequency-switching system was prepared as a local oscillator part of the heterodyne radiometers. The frequency switching time was 10 mus. The fundamental electron cyclotron emission spectrum was successfully measured using the radiometer in the LHD experiment.
