Abstract

AbstractThe sensitivity of a stripline moisture sensor has been investigated as a function of frequency in the range 2—14 GHz. The effects of dielectric layers on top of the strip have also been studied. It is concluded that, at X-band, the sensor is not at its maximum sensitivity and may be further optimised by a reduction in measurement frequency.
