Abstract
An improved type of broadband directional couplers specially suitable for microwave-microwave double-resonance experiments is described. It allows coupling of microwave power between different waveguide bands with almost constant coupling ratio over a full waveguide band. Constructional details and performance of two models are given, one for coupling power between 18 and 26.5 GHz into an X-band guide, the other for coupling power between 12.4 and 18 GHz into an X-band guide.
