Abstract

A waveguide with two perfectly magnetic walls (hard waveguide) based on the gap waveguide technology is proposed and its application as a potential element of an array is discussed. Compared to previous designs existing in literature, the structure proposed here exhibits a much larger bandwidth. The use of this structure as an element of an open ended waveguide array is as well discussed.
